HAM TRAN East Heaven I felt the stars beneath my skin I felt I could fly Flesh tingling as it shed upon a floor without ceiling The layers peeled and I could fly I wanted to be freed from the grabbing ground to be lifted by soft shoulders of wind I closed my eyes and spread my arms I felt my body rise The deck below no longer there the towel beneath a blanket of air I felt myself rise for I could fly I let the hair branches comb my skin I felt my flesh bloom and night come in I let myself fly and rose even higher I brushed against the clouds a breath of time a song in flight lulled by the moon Tonight tonight I soared the sky tonight tonight in memory sings Unlock the light and let me keep this feel of heaven at my side this night tonight when soft I glide Flying not falling into sleep
