MARLA WILSON

Below the Horizons dark lifeless chilled night air evil manifesting itself around me all the world is dead except me tonight. so still and calm that my faint voice could go far across the vast skies skipping across the heavens. my heart races a chill runs down my spine the delight of embracing darkness fills my soul. the day devours my words closes my mind ravages my soul. oh, to open your mind free your spirit boldly stand up to the day in its bright sunny glare is only a fantasy that dips just below the horizons. when the sun sets and all recoils, daunted i am the queen of my night.
