Saluki Tamsins originated from Pirate Dog Kennels, which I think closed down a number of years Ago. The tamsins were bred using the saluki breedfile below...

Saluki tamsins are very interesting to breed as they produce very unusual coat patchings and characteristics.
Here are some examples of the coat patterns and characteristics that can be produced

Trinity was one of the first saluki tamsins that I recieved, and she has a unusual target chest patch which can be found in the line.

Sword which I adopted from pirate dog kennels, is an examples of the patchiness that can be produced. These coat markings I think are unique of the saluki line.

Here are two tamsins that I bred, Jamin and Adrianna. Not only do they have the unique coat patterns of the saluki line, but also have the poofy tails which are very often produced from this line.

I adopted Saviour off of Pirate Dog Kennels and she shows the smooth coat and flares which often show up in the line.
If you would like a saluki tamsin there are nearly always adoptions available here. You can also request a litter with one of the saluki tamsins.. Help keep the unusual saluki tamsin line alive! :)
