A cat with the body of a calico, with only two colours of fur. One solid colour should dominate, whilst the other should only appear on one jowl, one ear, one foot, and one band in the tail. These markings can be the same colour as the body. They can also have a chest patch or a face stripe, but not both. The term was created by Madcapp of Madcapp's Madhouse.
Houla Spots | A houla spot is one that is a darker shade of the same colour as the main coat colour. For example a pet that has a bright white coat, and darker white spots, would be said to have houla spots. |

Tamsin | There are many different views for what a tamsin is. My view is one that was more common a few years ago in that the dog should have a dali body and some markings other than spots, this could be chiuhuauah markings, anything really. However the most common view around at the moment is that a tamsin should have a dali body, and mutt spots including a chest patch. For a more detailed standard go here... |
