First go to Adjust (located on top toolbar), Hue and Saturation, Colourise. To make Hill purple I am going to change to the following settings.

Changing the hue will make your pets different colours, and changing the saturation to 0 will make your pet black and white. Here are some more images that I created by adjusting these settings.
