Tenderly I feel your hand upon my face
Quieting the beat of my heart
Quenching the pain that lies within
Breathing such warmth into my soul

Tenderly,
Letting your words caress me
As they speak of yesterday's promise
When love shined brightly
From our hearts and laughter danced.

Tenderly,
Gazing into your eyes I
Lose myself in their
Depth, looking into our souls
Glowing amber fire,

Tenderly,
I reach far and beyond my touch
To a place where passion burns
A candle all night and we join
As one in its peaceful flicker,

Tenderly,
I hold your hand in mine
Entwining as one, opening
Up into one heart,
Embracing this vision gently
Caressing this moment in time.
