� He like so many others leaders that play church and lead their flock astray ..... was one of those who had complained about the healings and the good works that were happening when this man Jesus the professed Son of God spoke.

� How many of us today are like that ..... dening Him until .....
and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:

� This ruler or leader of the church of that time besought Jesus .....

� He begged Jesus .....

� he fell down at Jesus� feet ..... making a public confession .....
probably in front of all of his congregation .....

� probably acknowledging Jesus as the Son of God for the first time and confessing his unbelief and his rejection of Christ.

� The Bible says in: Romans 10:9 �That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.[10] For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; [God - Rightness] and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.�

Luke 8:42 For he the ruler of the synagogue had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as He [Jesus] went the people thronged him.

� HOW MANY KNOW WITHOUT BEING THERE THAT WHEREVER JESUS WENT THERE WERE CROWDS ..... WOULD YOU BE ONE OF THE SPECTATORS OR WOULD YOU BE ONE OF THE PARTICIPANTS?

� Here the story of the ruler and his daughter is set aside for a moment due to another type of FAITH being expressed.

Luke 8:43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

Now we see a woman having an issue or a flow of blood 12 years ..... having spent ALL her money on doctors ..... and having not found relief or a healing .....HOW MANY KNOW AND BELIEVE THAT MAN IN ALL HIS WISDOM IS NOT NECESSARILY THE FINAL ANSWER.

Luke 8:44 Came behind [him], and touched the border of his garment: and IMMEDIATELY her issue of blood stanched. � I can just hear ALL you sceptics out there saying �Yah ..... sure she just touched the hem of His garment and IMMEDIATELY she was healed.

� Sure she was ..... bah humbug! Yah! She her issue of blood stopped.

� Say IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

� I said say IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!! Luke 8:45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throngs You and press [You], and You ask, �Who touched me?�

� I can just see Peter ..... looking around at all these people wanting to be so close to Jesus that you could not even put a piece of paper between Him [Jesus] and them ..... and saying ..... why would You ask such a foolish question every one who is near you is touching You.

� But Jesus says OH! But there�s a difference in this touch ..... it was a touch of Faith .....

Luke 8:46 And Jesus said, Somebody has touched me: for I perceive that virtue [POWER] is gone out of me.

Jesus knew virtue, goodness, POWER call it what you want .... He still knew part of His essence ..... part of His awesomeness had left Him

Luke 8:47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed.

IMMEDIATELY � Do you know ..... that at this time in the Jewish Nations that a woman with an issue of blood was considered unclean ..... that if she touched anyone ..... they also were considered unclean and would have to set themselves aside for seven days and seek cleansing by offering a sacrifice of cleansing.

� I did not make this up it is in the Bible!

� This woman because of her continual state of uncleanliness would have been cut off from contact with her friends and family probably having to live outside the city walls with the other unclean the lepers and such.

� By her defiling Jesus by touching Him and by working her way through the press of the multitude she defiled the whole crowd willingly ..... and she could have been stoned to death.

� Christ knew who touched Him! ..... BUT!!! ..... He tested her FAITH in the face of death ..... He pushed her to the limit ..... making her declare her willing defilement of the whole crowd just for her selfishness of wanting to be healed.

� Are you willing to declare your FAITH in the time of death ..... Are you willing to declare your faith and to put it to the test knowing ..... Just knowing that what you believe for will be done ..... and proving it no matter the cost!

Luke 8:48 And He said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort:your faith has made thee whole; go in peace.

Jesus said to her: �Be of good comfort ..... don�t worry your faith has made you whole ..... don�t worry about the consequences ..... no one will harm you �go in peace.�

Luke 8:49 While He yet spake, there came one from the ruler of the synagogue's [house], saying to him, your daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

While He is still talking to this woman a person arrives from the ruler of the synagogues house and tells the father of the girl that his daughter had died.

Luke 8:50 But when Jesus heard [it], He answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

When Jesus heard this report He calmly turned to the father saying: �FEAR NOT! Only believe, and she shall be made whole.�

Believe only ..... Jesus never said to doubt ..... just to believe ..... believe in Me, He says ..... have FAITH ..... Believe and Receive ..... have Doubt and do Without!

Luke 8:51 And when He came into the house, He suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.

When Jesus came into the house where the daughter was laid out He let know one in save those who believed ..... Peter, James and John [His watchmen] and the parents.

That is why we do not want anyone up here interfering with those being ministered to ..... only those designated are to be up here catching ..... these people are designated by the Pastor or whoever is speaking and doing the ministring.

Luke 8:52 And all wept, and bewailed her. [lamented or expressed deep sorrow over her death]: but He [Jesus] said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleeping.

Jesus then made a joke ..... no Jesus declared a fact beyond all human comprehension ..... He the third part of creation ..... the one who had created this young girl just declared life into her ..... He the creator just then recreated

Luke 8:53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.

The sceptics ..... scorned and made fun of Him ..... knowing in their Human wisdom ..... the young girl was dead!

Luke 8:54 And He [Jesus] put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

And Jesus put them all out ..... some times people we need to be forceful we need to put those who do not believe out of the ministering area so that their unbelief does not interfere with the believers belief ..... Jesus took her by the hand and said : �Maid arise�

Luke 8:55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway [IMMEDIATELY]

Say: IMMEDIATELY!

: and he commanded to give her meat.

Luke 8:56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

How many believe the parents were not needed to witness ..... How many believe that the sceptics became believers and did the witnessing!

People ..... �Salvation�, �Deliverance�, �Healing� ..... NOTHING ..... is impossible to God ..... through His Son Jesus

NOTHING!

Christ does� have to check with His secretary to find out the next time He is going to be available in your area ..... He is available 24/7 365 or 366 days a year!

He is a Christ of IMMEDIACY a Christ of the NOW!

When the thief on the cross said Father remember me when you come into your kingdom ..... Christ didn�t say come back next week ..... Christ knew the thief didn�t have to next week ..... do you? ..... Do you have until next week?

Jesus said to Him as He will say to you NOW ..... if you will only repent ..... � TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE. I don�t mean you will die like the thief did but you will be counted among the believers.

God�s Word says: �NOW is the accepted time ..... behold NOW is the day of Salvation�

God will not accept part of you ..... he is a jealous God ..... He will not share you with Satan ..... through your cigarettes, you drinking, your lying, your swearing, your greed, your lust ..... whatever.

If you are defiling His temple ..... your body or the church body in anyway then you are not His ..... you may have a form of godliness ..... you may be self righteous ..... but self righteousness is as filthy rags and is not God - Rightness

There is a difference and if you are not right with Him you are plain and simply a sinner ..... I�m not judging ..... the description of a Christian is in the Bible it is being Christ like ..... are you a disciple of Christ then you must follow His discipline ..... Do you?

If you cannot say you are Christ�s disciple then who�s are you?

If you have the FAITH to believe and the willingness to humble yourself before Him and declare Him to be the Son of God in your life ..... and the FAITH to believe that He can Heal even if it means dying to self then come up for prayer tonight .....

I or no body else can heal you but Jesus can and will if you only believe.

Tonight is the night of the done deal ..... tonight is the last time you come up for this type of healing in your life ..... tonight you lay it All on the altar ..... Christ is not only for the Now or the Immediate but a Christ of the Forever.

God bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and give you peace now and for evermore. Amen.
