The small dark-haired woman looked out at the ocean moodily. She could sense that things were not going well. When she had first been introduced to John Doggett by a mutual aquaintance, she thought he would be exactly what she needed, but things were getting so complicated!
She would have to get out soon. It was such a shame. She had really hoped to make a difference this time. She sighed and pulled out her cell phone. She punched in a number, and listened as a machine picked up. She had only spoken a few words when a savage blow struck the back of her head. She slumped down. One of the two men behind her picked up the phone, and carefully shut it off. The second man began to drag the woman away. Blood glistened in her long black hair.
