| After years of skating from childhood to highschool I had gotten sick of all the attitude that came with boarding. I hung up my S.M.A. everslick and called it a day. Six years later while on a business trip in Del Mar of Southern California, I cruised up to Coronado Island for the day and I purchased my first longboard. My soul took a deep breath as I cruised the city streets and passed over to the boardwalk. After falling in love with the "vibe" of longboarding I began to take a closer look at my new board. In the past I had built custom guitars and had a bit of knowledge on woodwork, so I decided that when I got home I would take a shot at building a board. After building a few boards and looking around at all the boards selling between $150-$200, I was certian that I could build a far better board with better hardware for the same price or less. So off I went. After about three boards friends all wanted them. So I kept building and got a lot better, and here I am now. I am very proud of PerfectBlue Longboards and am dedicated to building the best boards out there without charging a rip off price. I use only the finest materials and each board comes with a 1/4" real hardwood top, something you don't see on boards for $200. PerfectBlue Longboards are solid and beautiful. I hope you may enjoy them as much as me. |

| I currently use Oak and Poplar for the tops. The first boards I built had Mohagony, Walnut, and Maple tops. But compared to the durability of oak, nothing compares. I use Poplar for My Stringers due to its very cool and colorful long wavy grain. I can build with a Poplar top and an Oak stringer if desired.(See 48"Boardwalk) Oak takes stain great and has awesome grain! Whatever color you want I am sure I could do. | I currently run Exkate 201 Torsion trucks for a super tight and responsive turn. I use Exkate 70mm Easyrider wheels, and Exkate bearngs..
