That night, Serenity sneaked into Endymion's chambers. Tomorrow he will return again to Earth...and for Serenity, maybe this is the last time she would see his face. She watched Endymion in his peaceful slumber, getting the rest he needed after his battle with Diamond. Serenity looked at her necklace, the only thing that would let her remember him...their quarrels when they were young, on how she fell in love with him...everything. 'Maybe we aren't destined for each other...and besides, he deserves someone who is better than me.' Serenity thought, tears started to make its way down her cheek. She looked at him one last time and left his room. In her room, again like the last time, she cried herself to sleep.
 

Queen Serenity talked to her daughter earlier that night. She told her that she should forget about Endymion and go on with her life. Queen Serenity knew that it would be hard for Serenity to forget him but it would take a long time to heal her heart.
         

The next day Endymion again left the Moon Kingdom. But this time will be different than the last. Perhaps he won't be coming back to that kingdom. He was surprised to see Serenity bid him farewell...and saw something in her eyes...they looked different than before, they have lost its usual sparkle.
         

When he got home, Queen Emily was glad to see her son alive and well. And she also congratulate Endymion for a job well done in saving Serenity. Then everything came back to normal. A few days after his arrival, he traveled his kingdom to find his destiny. But everytime he attempts to find the one, he fails. He even used the star locket as his guide. He tried to held masquerade balls in their kingdom...but came to no use. He even went to different planets in the solar system too...but didn't find her either. Even months of looking for 'the one' isn't giving him any clues. He even researched about the star locket! Exhausted, he lay on his bed, thinking. He was holding the locket, and while he was examining it, he saw a small secret compartment. Curious, he opened it and a small note fell. He read the contents and came to realize that Serenity wasn't lying! He recalled the look on her face when he said the hasrsh words he said to her...she was hurt. He also realize that she gave him the locket to find the one that could make him happy instead of keeping it for herself! She gave it to him to find the key for his happiness... because she cares and she loves him. And he was blind to see that. After all these thoughts were gathered up, his mind was made up. With the star locket in his hand, he ran. He went to the portal so that he could go back to the Moon and ask for her forgiveness and tell her that he needed her. When he arrived at the Moon's portal at the Moon palace, he placed the locket in his pocket and started to run towards Serenity's room.
         

Serenity can't sleep. She went to her balcony and looked at the beautiful planet Earth.'The Earth looks so beautiful from here' she thought. Suddenly her bedroom door opened and she saw...Endymion. With his breath ragged, he went up to her and his eyes pleading. "Forgive me, Serenity" he said. "I realized that I was blind to see that you really love me and you care for me" he added. "I searched the world to find my happiness, and I realized that it is you are the only one that can give that to me. I need you..." he stopped. Serenity flew herself to his embrace, her eyes brimming with tears. "I love you" she whispered to his ear. "I love you too" he said. And then he kissed her, passionately. Serenity wrapped her arms around Endymion's neck as the kiss continued. Later, the kiss ended for their need to breathe. That's when they heared a soft, beautiful melody playing. Endymion reached for his pocket and pulled out the star locket, the beautiful music still played. Endymion and Serenity looked at each other lovingly, "We are made for each other after all" Serenity chuckled as Endymion leaned for another kiss.

~I actually finished a story!!! YAY! So no more threats like hammers, spatulas and laser guns!! Oops I forgot my other stories^^;;;; I know this is a corny ending and a bit short though...but I like it. Many thanks to those who emailed me or read this story...you guys inspired me to write more.
