Liddell Hart also known as Sir Basil Henry, born in 1895 and died in 1970. He was an English author and also a military strategist. He study at Cambridge, but had to leave due to World War I. He was wounded twice during the war and retired as a Captain in 1927. In 1925-1935 he was a military correspondent for The London Daily Telegraph and The London Times. He liked mechanized warfare and his thinking did good before World War II with the German high comman. He also invented many infantry tactics and training methods that the British army would use. He also developed a strategic theory known as "an indirect approach". In 1937-1938 he was an advisor for the British war minister. He was also Knighted in 1966. |
