Geo Metro (Autozam)

Eagle's surrogate older brother and second in command. Likes candy as much as Eagle (it's his jar of candy that Eagle offers Hikaru in the anime). He seems to assume a personal responsibility for Eagle, checking up on his health and curbing Eagle's natural impetuousness. He often disapproves of his friend's behavior, but that doesn't stop him from being perpetually at Eagle's side.

Zazu Torque (Autozam)

Head mechanic of the NSX (the flagship of Autozam). Absolutely obsessed with mecha: he loves Eagle's FTO like a girlfriend, and looks after it with a care that could be called obsessive-compulsive. Zazu is also very fond of alcohol, a strange and not very nice habit in someone so young. Still, despite his quirks, he is a loyal and cheerful friend.

Kailu Lantis (Cephiro)

Made friends with Eagle when living in Autozam. A stoic and apparently unfeeling character, Lantis actually has a warm, caring heart that has become bitter with years of watching two people he cares for become more and more unhappy out of duty to their planet. In the manga, Eagle was the only person to see Lantis cry. In the anime, he was the only one Lantis cried for. In both (but more in the manga), there are heavy implications that the two are more than best friends. Look into this further in the "random blithering" section.
