On the Road to Perdition... Back to Glory, ...Page 9 | |||||||||||||
| When I left the Police Station I was still a very hurt man. I needed to see my own Parents and sort out the issues with them. I came to Prison in 1978 and I had 1 visit from my Father. He never saw me again in there. My Father blamed me for my children getting raped, for being in prison and not providing a home for my children. In short, he wanted to shoot me. On the following page is a short extract of the contents of a letter I received from my Dad. My mother was too frightened that if he saw me I would get hurt and my father may end up with a heart attack. Remember I have only spoken to my Father around 6 times in 27 years, mostly over the phone, twice personally. |
