Brecht's influence
'Brecht absorbed and in turn perpetuated more influences than any other individual in modern theatre'             (Britannica)

Epic theatre has been readily integrated into film theory. A particular proponent of Brechts ideas has been Jean- Luc Godard who has used such filmic ideas as the use of montage to produce differing and more individual stimulus response reactions in the viewer.
