In May of 2001,Robbie flew into Stockholm's Arlanda airport to be met by Mandy. We took an 80 minute train journey North  upto The city of Gavle.  Gavle sits on the East coast of Sweden. Mandy had hired a VW Golf so that we could tour the surrounding area.
On our first day, Mandy hired a car and we drove out to the  picturesque area of Bonan, which lies just North of the city and on the shores of the Baltic sea.
..
In the afternoon we went to Boulonge park and played "Crazy Golf",
Mandy won by 5 shots. We then retired to one of the parks swing chairs for a well deserved snack and a relaxing couple of hours in the Swedish sunshine.
On our next day we headed off to the Nature park at Hemlingby, a large area of natural beauty that overlooks the city of Gavle, with its numerous trails through the forest.
