St.John's, ANTIGUA.
Portsmouth, DOMINICA.
Castries, ST.LUCIA
Our 3rd port of call was Antigua, we spent the morning exploring the lively streets of St.John's. We visited St. John's Cathedral, built in 1845, the church is now in its third incarnation, as earthquakes in 1683 and in 1745 destroyed the previous structures.  We then wandered through the colourful streets to the local market.
The sign says it all.
In the afternoon we dediced to throw caution to the wind and join the "Jolly Roger" party ship. Its a replicar of a pirate ship and serves its guests LARGE amounts of rum punch and then makes them walk the plank !

Dominica was a complete contrast to the other Caribbean Islands that we visited, with an extensive and unspoiled rainforest, 365 rivers, one of the world's largest Boiling Lakes and a host of waterfalls.

Our ship is on the left NOT the right.
That evening before we sailed there was a beautiful sunset, so we took the oppotunity to take a few photo's on deck

Now thats what you call a buttonhole
Life's a beach huh?
I think St.Lucia was our favourite Island of the cruise, the people we met were friendly and helpful and the scenery beautiful, we both wished that we'd had more time to see the Island, with an early sailing on the Emerald we decided to walk around the town center and local Market, we then hopped into a cab and headed for Rodney Beach.
Mmmm more bloody ships photo's
Check out The Barefootman, we bought his Best volume 3 CD, which has such classics as "Big Bamboo", "Who put the pepper in the vaseline" and a new cut called "Viagra" dedicated to all those boys who are "Over de hill.."
