DEFINITIONS
SMUGGLED GOODS

duty not paid or prohibihited from import / export


SALES TAX

tax on goods sold or imported


SERVICE TAX

tax on services provided by restaurants, hotels,
professional services, etc.


EXCISE DUTY

duty on specific goods manufactured locally such as
motor-cars, cigarrettes and alcohol.
