Welcome to "the Library"
Feel free to read my offerings. First of all I present my undergraduate dissertation "Three Goddesses in the Book of the Dead; Concept and Function." This examines the role and importance of the goddesses Isis, Nephthys and Hathor in the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
Then there are the first two draft chapter of my thesis, whose subject is "The Sky Goddess Nut in the Pyramid Texts." The first chapter examines Nut's relationship with the king, while the following chapter looks at her relationship with other gods in the Pyramid Texts.
"Narmer and the Early Egyptian State" is a paper that I presented at a postgraduate seminar which develops my interest in the Early Dynastic Period and the beginnings of the Egyptian State.
Next is some information about me, who I am, what I look like, what my credentials are for writing about Egyptology, etc, and some other links I find interesting. This is followed by some pictures taken in Egypt by a friend of mine especially for me for anyone who would like to see them.
I have also posted a recent project completed as part of a short course examining research tools on the web. Most will be familiar to those interested in Egyptology, others perhaps not so familiar, although just as useful, I hope. Finally, I have included some other links, not necessarily anything to do with Egyptology, but which I find interesting.
Enjoy!
