Poem One
"Road to Eternity of Life"
By: Emily
Eternity lies behind
as I walk.
Through emptiness; the
darkness swallows the light.
I wonder.
Searching for anything; to
begin new life.
I think.
Walking, thinking, following
the road to emptiness.
On a mission to find
the beginning.
May take an eternity, but
still I walk.
My dream to find life and a
beginning to an end.
poem two
"Who is more Free"
By: Emily
The caged bird or
The prisoner set free
The animals in the burning Tropics or The zoo animals people see
The saddenned rich kid
The thunderous clash of thunder or
The hard blowing wind
The flowers in the vase or
The tumbling weeds scorched
The colony of ants or
The swarming bees
The mute person or
The one who cannot see
The spooked person or
The cruel prankster
The shards of broken glass or
The antique chinaware
You or me?
Tell me which element is more free...
Poem Three
"Observation"
By:  Emily
poem four
Wondering Angels around me
Roaming Devils hiding
Not-yet Saints learning
Lost souls frowning
This I observe
Round and a'round
This Globe, our home
Each of these, you'll see
Polite, giving ones, mean
Destructive, still understanding
Unheard voices, faces unseen
In sorts of shapes and sizes
Easy to be drawn, withdrawn
Into a group of these
People with their futures
Anticipating each day with dawn
See what they see fit.
"Secret"
By: Emily
'I would much like to be by you
If only my heart showed
My true feelings for you'
'If my actions have denied
What is really there for you,
Then tell me what I am to do'
'Tell me by actions, or hopefully
Words when you knew it was me
Who sent you the flowers and
The note; signed
anonymous -
it was really me!'
'How can I really show what's
Locked up inside my heart
These feelings for you will only
Show when your feelings for
Me grow!'
