<No,> Peppy shakes his head, once more becoming shy. <I'm sure she's not my mate.> And, as an added bonus: <And I doubt she'd want to be, either.> There's an awkward pause, and the pup's tail gives a nervous perk. <I mean...> Peppy glances to the side. Life is so, so, so much easier when you focus yourself on eating and sleeping and not other things.
Bit by bit, Peppy's becoming a little more used to wild life. He's still waiting for Patch to return, but it's not so hard now. It's getting warmer and food is no longer hard to find. But even a pokemon has to have friends. Here's one thing most people wouldn't wonder - how's the pup's social life coming along?

Rainy Days: Peppy, Aurora, and Navarone the Vulpix all come together on one rainy day...
Charlie: Ahh, trainers. How's the Growlithe feel about 'em now?
Time's passed. Peppy's finally started to remember exactly why he came back to route 7 in the first place - isn't it funny that it's been months, and there's still no sign of Patch? The pup's hopes that Patch would take back her decision to let him go sort of vanish into air.
Never Forget: Navarone, ever the human hater, convinces the Growlithe that it's time to pack it up and move on out.
So now Peppy's no longer on Route 7. Never to return, right? So where should he stop along - but the annual Pokemon Valley festival? Here's a log of day two - the battle.
Kinnouka: Remember her? She's back - and this time, it's personal!
Pottery: This is day four. It's a pottery contest! Soki vs. Candlelight vs. Aya vs. Rapid vs. Peppy. Who can create the best Dragonite sculpture?
After the festival is over, Peppy heads on back to route 7 - but not to stay. No, he's got to tell a certain someone he's leaving - it's not too hard to guess who.
But lo and behold, he returns (clay Dragonite in mouth), only to find that Aurora's just that day decided to set up a permanent establishment; she's creating a den! Looks like Peppy's grounded there... At least, for a little longer.
Aurora's Den: After helping Aurora out a little with her den, Peppy gives her a little gift... and tests out the den himself!
Problems: Navarone - ever the pessimist, always good for a neat RP. This log focuses mostly around him and the troubles he's having with his own life.
Next section: Naiad. Peppy meets somebody much smarter than he is. ... Like that's so unlikely.
