Saffron City: (North Side) Mime Street

In this area of the sunny Mime Street, the most prominent landmarks are the gates to the north and the prosperous Blue Kadabra Inn. Known for getting perhaps as many people daily as Celadon's inn during a festival, the Blue Kadabra requires reservations... perhaps for years in advance! But maybe you'll get lucky, and there will be a spot from someone who reserved.. then died.
The traffic isn't quite so bad here, though the commute out to the parks and gym areas isn't poor. Most people drive through on their way to the southern parts of the city, where the 'real' sights are. It's also where you can get pick-pocketed blind, or get lung cancer from the smog. Still, all in all, a good city to pass through.

Fair weather clouds drift through the blue sky from the west, along with the wind. The sunlight on the snow is dazzling, and it gleams on the ice. In the forest, blowing snow drifts against the trunks of the trees. While at the coast, the sea is bright but cruel and cold looking in the sunlight, the waves gentle and the whitecaps small.

The big city is beautiful today. The snow is a light grey from the smog in the air and the air is chilly, but people are still out and about today, taking walks and seeing the sights. Melissa Barlette, native girl of Pewter City, is one of these people. She's looking up at the very tips of the skyscrapers, pure amazement in her eyes (though the rest of her face remains solemn). Celadon City can't even compare, she thinks to herself, sticking her hands into her pockets and bringing her head down to a normal level. She shivers from the cold, mumbling something incoherent. She needs to get to a Pokemon Center. Her blue eyes scan the proximity, looking for somebody to speak too. Hey, she needs directions, after all.

While there are indeed plenty of people out and about seeing the sights on this fair, if not chilly, autumn day, there are a quite a few who scurry along on errands as well, it would seem. The city natives and those on business scurry through the streets without so much as a passing glance or two at whatever sights might be offered for viewing. It's among these, rather than the sightseers, that Lee falls in with. No longer decked up in her disguise for the tournament, the pretty trainer Jessica Bradsford is once again Lee Bennett, the boyish-looking female Rocket. Hands shoved deep in the pockets of her dark jacket, the teen strides quickly through the street on long legs, moving with all the grace and agility of someone accustomed to crowds.

(look Lee)

There's nothing especially eye-catching about this girl, really. In height she's on the higher end of average, something around seven or eight inches over five feet. Her build is decidedly light; while she's beginning to fill out a little and grow into her long limbs, she's still a slender girl and will likely turn out a slender woman. Even not fully grown out of her gangliness, she's still managed to learn the grace that usually comes with maturing, moving with the precise, fluid motion one might see in a dancer or gymnast. Her overall coloring is halfway between light and dark, every aspect about her being varying shades of brown. Her skin is a light copper year round, and her hair is slightly darker brown, streaked with natural gold and red highlights brought out by the sun. Said hair is messily cropped short and boyish, though it's long enough to constantly present the problem of obscured vision and has a habit of hiding her light hazel eyes from view, more often than not.

Clothing-wise, she's also pretty typical. A simple pair of unfitted bluejeans ride low about her hips, the baggy cuffs nearly covering her worn navy blue sneakers. Her shirt is also plain, a comfortable black t-shirt that hangs loosely over her shoulders and hangs in a rather unflattering way nearly to her knees. This would seem to be her theme: loose, comfortable, careless.

After a little looking around, Melissa's eyes settle upon Lee. The older girl's face creases into a frown, and she nervously lifts up her right hand to adjust her glasses. Melissa has second doubts about approaching the Rocket, mostly because she's simply that antisocial - but the wind picks up, and, with a tiny "Aah!", she makes her decision. She wants to get into warmth - *now*. Taking one nervous glance left, then right, Ms. Barlette marches up to Lee, coming at her from the side. Okay, Melissa mentally tells herself. Act cool. Don't stutter. Don't stress. Don't blush or pause awkwardly or act scared. Act cool. Act cool. "Ex..." Then, a little deeper, a little louder, a little more forceful. "Excuse me, sir?" Off to a great start, isn't she?

Aie! Peppy and Aurora's puppies are headed for the database! Better save! (Saving)

Unfortunately for poor Melissa, the particular person she picked to ask for directions isn't in the greatest of moods at the moment. Or they don't appear to be, at least. Lee keeps right on walking, even as she's addressed by the other girl. If the trainer wants to catch a response, she'll need to keep up first. But a response does come, whether or not Melissa catches it. "Sir?" the Rocket mutters, rolling her eyes a little as she strides along. "I'm a girl, thanks." Despite her words however, the teen's voice is low and slurred, difficult to understand. And it doesn't really help her case much; she sounds about as male as she looks. Not quite as low as most guys, but low enough.

Melissa does indeed catch most of Lee's reply - not the word "Sir", as that is lost in the wind, but the "I'm a girl" part. And Melissa has never blushed as much as she blushes now. Her chest clenches up, her neck freezes, and her hands clench into fists. Indeed, Lee has about a five second head start before the Pewter girl can start moving again. Her eyes wide with fright, Melissa now jogs after Lee. Her mind is screaming "No! No! Don't embarass yourself like that again!", but she still keeps running. Maybe she wants to apologize. Maybe she wants to let it be *known* that she can cover up for her faux pas. Maybe she's just that desperate to get to a Pokemon Center and is in such a shocked state that she doesn't think to ask somebody else. As she runs closer to Lee (and it's hard on Melissa, who gets tired out from taking ten minute walks), the girl gasps, "I am... I... I'm so sorry about that... So sorry, I really didn't... didn't..." The rest of her body is pale white from fright. Her cheeks are a very rosy red. Wonderful contrast.

Okay, so it looks like this kid won't be gotten rid of so easily. Sighing to herself, Lee slows her pace to one that's a little easier to keep up with. She doesn't bother turning to look at the trainer, though. Narrowed eyes remain fixed on the sidewalk ahead of her as she deftly weaves in and out between people wandering the street. "Don't be," comes the monotone reply, after a moment. The Rocket shrugs a little, pulling a black-gloved hand from her pocket and running it through her short brown hair. Then suddenly she stops, drops one shoulder and looks back at the slightly shorter girl. "Now. You neeed somethin'?" Face impassive and cold, Lee raises one eyebrow questioningly.

Melissa, on the other hand, almost bumps into two women, and a man has to step out of her way (muttering a curse at "damn kids" in the process). She's not very good at running. As Lee slows down a bit, Melissa, looking flustered as she pants for breath, drops her run to a light jog - but she comes to a very disgraceful stop as Lee herself halts, the Pewter girl jutting her arms out to keep her balance as her legs stop and her body keeps going. She keeps herself from tripping, however; straightening herself, Melissa looks Lee in the eyes... and almost immediately looks away. "I was just... um... just... uh... ... where's the, uh, the... Pokemon Center?" She's even more nervous than usual.

The Rocket's eyes narrow sharply as Melissa meets her gaze, going colder and harder than before as she stares right back. It's a good thing the trainer looks away quickly, as almost the moment she does Lee relaxes. A little. For a good several minutes the teen simply watches the other girl, light hazel eyes wandering over her and apparently taking in every detail. Rude or not, she does this as blatantly and obviously as humanly possible. Then she shrugs a little, the motion partially lost in the thickness of her jacket. "I can show ya the way, I guess. If ya can keep up." Without waiting for a reply the Rocket swings off again, long legs carrying her through the crowd once again.

Those several minutes feel like hours to Melissa as she stands there, suddenly ignorant of the cold, suddenly aware only of Lee's glare piercing through her clothes, through her skin. The older girl -feels- the Rocket's eyes on her; she only looks up once or twice to see if Lee's still glaring at her... Even though she knows the answer. If it's humanly possible for Melissa to blush even further, she does. Just as the girl has summoned up enough courage to ask what's wrong, what Lee's looking at - the tomboy speaks. "Well, I..." And Lee is off, leaving Melissa to stare ahead, a blank look on her face, before hurrying off after the mysterious girl, trying to weave through traffic as well as Lee.

Lee doesn't bother glancing back, to see if she's being followed or not. If she is that's fine, as she's headed to the Pokemon Center anyway. If she's not, that doesn't matter eather. She's got more important things to worry about, besides some pathetic lost trainer. And this fact the Rocket makes quite apparently, even as she walks. Her pace is quick and easy, continuing to dodge those on the street with practiced ease. It's a little slower than before however, so Melissa should only need to walk faster than usual to keep up, not run. As she swings along the teen glances around quickly, scanning the city streets with sharp eyes. Ever so often she pauses briefly, her steps slowing as she watches someone pass... then she picks up her pace again, smoothly. It's easy to see she's looking for someone.

Melissa read this in a book once. Recently, actually. Sure, it was the story about a girl searching a jungle for a particular plant, but that section of the book was described in such a manner that even as the Ms. Barlette side-steps and swerves through the crowds, she notices the distinct similarities - the look on Lee's face when she turns her head enough, the way she slows down here and there, the way she observes the area with such interest... she's looking for something. "Um," Melissa mumbles quietly as she ups her pace to get as close to Lee as possible without being in touching range. Maybe she's scared. "You... are you looking for someone?" She opens her mouth to mention that she is, too, but Melissa gets the vibes that this girl really doesn't care what she's doing.

Aie! Peppy and Aurora's puppies are headed for the database! Better save! (Saving)

Again Melissa's question goes unanswered for a moment or two, the Rocket appering to completely ignore her at first. Her pace slows gradually once more, her head turning a bit to one side. Ah, over there... is that him? Lee's gaze locks on a passerby momentarily, her eyes narrowing as she watches him pass... no. Not him. Scowling, the girl picks up her pace again. After another minute she replies coldy, "Yeah. A friend." She glances back over her shoulder, again eyeing the older girl who's following her. "S'ere a problem withat?"

Problem? "No, no!" Melissa replies immediately, throwing her hands up to chest level, palms outward, and shaking her head. "I... um..." She hesitates for a moment, once again glancing uncertainly to the side. "I was just... wondering. Because it's such a large city..." A very, very uncertain smile comes into view on Melissa's face as she now looks up at Lee, looking her in the eyes but not menacingly or threateningly. She has no idea how the Rocket will interpret it, however. "... I couldn't even find a building... it... must be harder to find a person." The grin widens, though it looks neither friendly nor amused.

"'Kay then," the younger girl mutters, nodding a little. She turns away again before Melissa can actually look her in the eye, and continues along. Surprisingly enough, Lee bothers enough to strike up a conversation on the trainer's point, replying with, "Ain't so hard, really. Not if you've planned to meet 'em someplace." A pause, the faintest hint of a smile crossing the Rocket's face. As she's turned away however, it's unlikely that Melissa will be able to catch it. "Thinkin' ahead'll often save ya a lotta trouble. Learned that'un the hard way." This time she chuckles quietly, shrugging a bit. "Wasn't fun, I'll tell ya that."

Melissa crosses her arms across her chest as Lee looks away, though she doesn't look annoyed - only cold. "... Oh," the girl lets out at last. Silence follows. Eventually, Melissa builds up the nerve to ask a question, and so, with an audible gulp, she ventures. "... I'm not... holding you up, am I?" she asks quietly, bringing one hand up to adjust her glasses uncertainly, a light frown coming onto her face. "I... uh, if I am, I think I could, uh, I could find, um, find the way on my own. You know. Uh. If you want. Or can..." Melissa decrecendos into nothingness, her voice getting softer and softer until it's gone.

There's another chuckle from the Rocket. "Nah," the teen says casually, shrugging again. "I'm goin' there anyway. Jus' follow me an' you'll get there." Oddly, Lee's tone isn't as cold as it had previously been. She doesn't sound annoyed, or uncaring. But did she ever, really? In any case, the female Rocket would seem to be loosening up a little... if it's not just Melissa's imagination playing tricks on her. Although maybe it's not, after all. Lee's pace slow further still, allowing for the trainer to walk next to her if she wants, rather than follow behind. And the girl even offers a small, wry grin. "Wouldn't be botherin' with ya, if you were holdin' me up." And there's the blunt truth, too.

There's the blunt truth, and it's one Melissa can't deny. Lee doesn't seem like a happy priest who'll help everybody she stumbles across, so the fact that the Rocket's helping Melissa at all suggests that it's only convenient for her. Well, whatever - as submissive and shy as the girl makes Melissa feel, they're getting to the Pokemon Center in record time. The trainer would be lost by now. As long as they enter no alleys, Melissa's content. "I guess you're right..." the Pewter girl mumbles in agreement, following it up rather quickly with a "Are we... almost there?"

Aie! Peppy and Aurora's puppies are headed for the database! Better save! (Saving)

Lee's grin broadens, the teenage crook nodding at the older girl. "'Course I am," she agrees. "An' yeah, we're almost there. Jus' a few more blocks an'--" Whatever she was going to say is cut off, as the Rocket finds herself roughly jostled back and off to one side. Ironically enough, the side that Melissa's on. If the trainer doesn't move quickly, she's going to end up being bumped by the taller girl. Not very gently, either. Lee, meanwhile, bristles at the intrusion. Take your focus off for one blasted minute and... "Hey!" she snarls, regaining her balance in record time and whirling on the jostler. "Jus' what the fuck d'ya think yer doin'? Move it, jackass!" Said jackass, a tall teen of about eighteen or nineteen years, a powerful build and long blonde hair, simply grins down at the two girls. "Move it yerself, bitch," he replies, though his tone is amused. "Well, well. What've we got 'ere?"

Wow. Lee seems... almost friendly, in her own little way. Though Melissa doesn't verbally reply, she does smile softly, almost appreciative of the fact that the Rocket's actually showing some attention that isn't negative. The smile vanishes almost immediately, however, as Lee bumps into her. It's a rather rough bump, too, and with a "Oof!" and a gasp, Melissa stumbles a step or two, clutching desperately at her face to keep her glasses from falling off. "Wh... what..?" And then the profanity runs loose, hanging in the air and echoing in the trainer's ears. Melissa instantly blushes at the coarse language - but she quickly realizes that's the least of her concerns. Looking up at the tall boy, her blue eyes widening slightly behind her glasses, Melissa shifts weight to her other leg uncomfortably, glancing at the back of Lee's head, not knowing what to do. People walking by take some notice, and one little boy stops to watch for a bit.

Not unlike a cat who's had its tail stepped on, Lee hisses and turns, glaring daggers, on the one who dared bump into her. Only to have her face go blank a moment later, her anger draining almost instantly as she catches sight of the taller teen. Surprise shows clearly for a moment, before she gets it under control again and replaces the expression with an annoyed one. "Oh," she mutters, sighing and rolling her eyes a little. "It's you." Still looking amused, the boy nods. "Yeah, s'me. Who'd ya expect?" He doesn't wait for a reply, instead turning his attention on Melissa. For a moment he eyes the trainer, an odd expression on his face. Then he grins, making already attractive features even more so. "Hey," he greets, tilting his head a little, in a friendly gesture. "Don't think we've met. M'name's Kevin." A large, black-gloved hand reaches out, obviously to shake.

Melissa peers at the boy's gloved hand for a couple moments, as if deciding what to do. Eventually, the girl glances up at Kevin's face, gives him a few awkward looking grin, and extendsher hand to grasp his. Her grip will not be firm at all. "I... um. Melissa." She's already blown it with Lee, but she's trying her very hardest to be social with Kevin, as is suggested by her eyes locking onto the taller boy's face and her slow, controlled speech - she's trying not to stutter. "Nice to... meet... you, Kevin." Small smile. Melissa slowly raises up one hand. It heads towards her glasses, stops, and goes beyond, stroking through her hair. This must be the guy the other girl was looking for, the Pewter girl thinks.

While Melissa's handshake may not be firm, Kevin's certainly is enough to make up for it. The big teenager's grip is gentle, yet decidedly strong as he takes the girl's hand and shakes it twice. Then he releases it and steps back again, still grinning. "Nice meetin' you too, Melissa," he replies, saying the trainer's name slowly and deliberately, as if trying to remember it. Again he eyes her, taking in any details he may have missed the first time around. All the while Lee watches, impatiently. "All righ', all righ'. Enough. C'mon, jackass. We've got work to do," she grumbles after a moment, addressing the boy rather than Melissa. The female Rocket sighs loudly, gives both her friend and the trainer a pointed look, then turns on her heel and starts off again, pace quick. Kevin sighs as well, nods, then motions for Melissa to go ahead of him. "Come on, she's not gonna wait for us."

After the handshake, Melissa clenches and relaxes her hand a couple times. It didn't hurt - much - but it's enough to make the girl need to stretch out her joints. "Work?" Melissa asks, turning her head toward Lee as though she's purposely avoiding eye contact with Kevin. Perhaps he intimidates her. Lee marches on ahead, and Ms. Barlette does give Kevin a glance and a nod before following after the Rocket quickly, occasionally glancing to the side so as to see the tall boy out of the corner of her eye. She's walking down the streets of Saffron City in daylight - why is she acting so scared?

Aie! Peppy and Aurora's puppies are headed for the database! Better save! (Saving)

Lee's apparently eager to get someplace, as her stride is even longer than before. Lanky and agile, not to mention used to crowds and moving within them, the teen manages to cover quite a bit of ground in a very short time, dodging people and objects easily as she hurries along. It probably won't take long for her to disappear into the crowd, out of Melissa's view. Leaving the trainer alone, with Kevin still walking along behind her. The muscular teen's pace is quick as well, and while he's not as graceful as Lee, he's got the powerful look to him that makes people get out of the way. He remains just behind Melissa, lurking, following her at a distance that just teeters on the edge of normal and uncomfortable, not saying a word. Lee's nowhere to be seen.

Melissa is entirely aware of Kevin's proximity, but it doesn't make her as uncomfortable as some other people might be. After all, there are plenty of people out this afternoon; as long as she stays on the sidewalk, she'll be fine... right? It takes Melissa a minute or two, but eventually she comes to the realization that Lee is nowhere in sight. Her pace gradually slows down into a stop, and, rotating her body to the side, she glances back at Kevin, starting from his stomach and working her eyes up to his face. "She's... gone," she mumbles, though says little more as she directs her attention back to the front, once more scanning the masses for any sight of the strange girl.

Kevin looks far from surprized by Melissa's announcement. "Yup," he says, shrugging his broad shoulders carelessly. "She does that. She'll be back." The big teen raises his hand, brushing a few strands of his long hair away from his face. Grey eyes scan the street, narrow a bit, then relax. "Or maybe not. We're almost there, anyway. See?" He points ahead, where the city Pokemon Center can just barely be seen through the crowds. But before they can go any further a familiar girl strides up from behind. "Yeah, an' we ain't gettin' there any faster. Pick it up, will ya?" Lee's annoyed words are spoken to Kevin, though they're obviously directed at Melissa as well.

Melissa brings her arms up to cross her chest as Kevin speaks, not looking when Kevin points. All the while, she avoids looking at his face. So much for her determination to act social. "Well," she mumbles, her hands dropping to squeeze inside of her pockets. "I guess I'll g-" And then Lee comes out from... behind, much to Melissa's surprise. Without a word, without so much as even a quick glance at the female Rocket, Ms. Barlette quickly whirls around and makes her way through the crowd, her eyes locked on the Pokemon Center, no longer looking over her shoulder to see if Kevin and Lee are following. As a matter of fact, she's moving faster than usual; it would look like she's trying to lose them, except her pace really is not that fast. The two behind her should have no problems keeping up.

The trainer's rather abrupt departure obviously surprises the pair of Rockets, though it's Lee that reacts first. She raises an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "What's 'at all about?" Her companion shrugs, grinning a little. "Kid's spooked, I guess. We follow 'er?" There's a pause, and the female teen considers this briefly. "Guess we gotta. Told 'er we're headin' to the Center, after all. Better follow through." Kevin nods shortly, tucking a strand of blonde hair behind his ear. "Right." Then the two start after Melissa. Indeed, they have no trouble making their way through the crowd. The poor trainer will need to do much better than that, to lose these two. As they near the Center one moves up on either side of the girl, though they remain just behind her. Neither speak.

Melissa doesn't react immediately as Kevin and Lee come up on her sides, but after a moment or two, after she realizes that the two people beside her are not just random segments of the crowd, but the two people who are supposed to be following her. They're too close for comfort. "Um," she mutters, her pace slowing down. "Guess this is it!" she says quickly, coming to a rather sudden stop not too far from the entrance to the Pokemon Center. Supposing the two others don't move too far ahead of her, she'll go on to exclaim, almost nervously, "Thanks for showing me the, uh, the uh, the way, I never would have found it without you." She takes a step towards the door, but anything after that depends on the reactions of the other two.

Lee hangs back as they approach the Pokemon Center, keeping her place on the left and about a step and a half behind Melissa. Oddly, the girl's not slouching like she usually does. Instead she's taking full advantage of her five feet, eight inches and standing straight and almost imposingly behind the trainer. She's a slender girl and not particularly threatening size-wise, though her thick jacket helps somewhat. And in either case there's something about her as well, a sort of edge not found in most people. Not one to mess with, despite appearances. Kevin meanwhile, the brawn of the pair, steps forward and cuts the trainer off from the door. But only for a moment. He reaches for the door, opens it and grins broadly, motioning the two girls inside. "Ladies first."

Aie! Peppy and Aurora's puppies are headed for the database! Better save! (Saving)

Biting her lower lip as Kevin moves ahead, Melissa gives Lee one quick glance, hesitates a moment longer, then scurries into the pokemon center, almost tripping on the snowy ground. The Pokemon Center is a sharp contrast to the world outside - warmer and louder, it's nice to take three steps without bumping into people, although the Center is particularly crowed today. It always is this time of year. "Hm," Melissa emits as she frowns softly, a little vapid sound that has no real meaning in it. Turning her head, the girl waits for Lee and Kevin to follow her in.

Kevin gives Melissa a short nod as she passes, still grinning rogishly. Then he glances over at Lee, who's still hanging back. "Ya comin'?" The female rocket hesitates, hazel eyes taking in the warm, loud, cheerful Pokemon Center distastefully. Ugh, trainers galore. Obnoxious trainers galore. Rolling her eyes and sighing heavily, the girl steps forward and enters the building after Melissa, pulling her hands from her pockets and tugging off her gloves now that they're inside. "We'll, here y'are," she comments dryly to the trainer, still taking the place in with a look of disguist on her face. From behind Kevin enters, catches her expression and snickers. "Ignore her," he tells Melissa, swinging an arm around Lee's shoulders and earning a deathglare. "She doesn't like confined crowds like this."

Kevin warrants a little smile from Melissa, which is quickly smoldered into a cross, almost expressionless face as the girl gives the tall boy a quick look. "I see." Melissa pauses briefly, shoots Lee a blank look, then smiles very slightly, her eyes narrowing, "I understand." The Pewter girl turns to the chairs. Though many are occupied, there are still quite a few empty seats - enough for all three of the travelers to rest... Though whether Melissa wants this or not is not detectable from her face. "... Are you guys... going?" she asks, whirling around, hair swooshing behind her. Some of it slaps her right cheek, and, shaking her head vigorously, she attempts to put it behind her. She fails.

Lee glowers as she's leaned upon by the much bigger, much heavier teenager. He's not improving her mood at all, and she makes the blatantly clear. "Kev..." she growls, voice low and irritated. "Get. Off." The long-haired boy grins wryly down at her, not moving. She sighs, gaze shifting to Melissa. In response to the trainer's question, she makes an attempt at shoving her companion's arm off her shoulders and says, "He is, yeah." A grunt, and another shove. The girl grits her teeth. "Off!" Snickering, the teenage boy removes his arm and shrugs. "Fine," he replies, grinning, then turns and wanders off into the Center. Glaring after him for a moment, Lee then turns and plops herself into an empty seat, sprawling out. Her gaze fixes on Melissa and she watches the other girl for her reaction. To what? Who knoes. Any sort of reaction, apparently.

Melissa smiles once more as Lee and Kevin interact with each other, though she finds it difficult to distinguish between whether they're just joshing or if she's seriously angry at him. She doesn't have many friends herself, but she's read books - isn't friendship usually a very... happy thing? "I've... had a long day of traveling," Melissa mumbles offhandedly to Lee as Kevin waddles off, her eyes following his every step until he finds himself in the corner. "Think I'll... um, take a nap." Without even so much as a farewell, the Pewter girl makes her way over to a vacant chair and sits in it. She crosses her legs, touching the ankle of her right leg to the knee of her leg, but doesn't go to sleep quite yet. She instead waits for a reply to Lee.

Lee slumps in her chair, crossing her arms across her chest and leaning back. letting her long legs stretch out. Melissa's words cause her to look up and nod, grinning lopsidedly. "Yeah," she agrees, looking bored. She begins to say something else, but her words are cut off by a yawn, which she doesn't bother to cover. Obviously, she's not the most polite person in the world. Also obvious, she could care less. "Anyway though, can't stay 'ere," the Rocket mutters, sighing. "Still got work ta do." She grunts softly, sitting up and then heaving herself to her feet. "See ya 'round, kid." Melissa gets a faint smile, a nod, then the teenage crook turns and heads off to find her friend again, leaving the trainer to nap in peace.

Melissa gives Lee a small "Have a nice night" as the Rocket leaves. The trainer puts her head back on the chair, peering up at the ceiling for a couple moments as though there's something of interest up there. It's not long, however, before her eyes have shut, her arms have fallen limp, and... well, she's snoring very slightly, much to the discontent of the Exeggcute on the chair next to her. "Exegg!" he mutters, but puts up with it - he, like anybody else who walks by her, can realize that Melissa's downright exhausted. She'll be embarassed to find out in the morning that she didn't brush her teeth or take a bath - but right now, bliss.

More Kitty logs.
