Life's been better with Melissa. Since she and Wesley have been getting closer as friends, she's been actively trying to lessen her stuttering, trying to make herself less antisocial and more friendly. Some of the more terrible incidents of the past are left behind her, never to be dug up again.

Or so she thinks until an old friend gives her a card.
