Wizardmon: Some of the Growlithes on PokeMUSH are Peppy, Ember, and Aurora.
Saranna: Hmm, he does? Didn't know that. And...no, Ember's gone, sadly.
Wizardmon: Hmm? GroooOOolithe!
Saranna: Yeah, that's it, a long mournful howl for Ember.
Wizardmon: GroooOOolithe!
Saranna: You can stop with the mournful howl now.
So now Peppy's back in Celadon. The two weeks on Cinnabar were long and hard - but Peppy got a better understanding of what he can do in the wild, and some glimpses at what being a wild pokemon is supposed to be. Horrible! Tiring! Uncomfortable! ... But oddly attractive. The following few logs give him an even better understanding of what a wild pokemon really is. Though they are small in number, these logs influence Peppy an awful lot. They're dated around April of 2001.
Meeting Ember: Peppy meets a Growlithe years older than himself. She's wild, she's smart, and she has a horrible distaste for humans.
Choices: After spending the night outside, Peppy bumps into not one but two other Growlithes - and he learns where the rain comes from. In the end, he tells Kutsu he'll be back the next day...
... But he doesn't return. For all the food for thought that's been fed to him, Peppy makes his final decision - to stay with Patch. Still, he's still been affected by the entire appeal of the world outside the city...
Winter falls half a year later. This is the last log that Peppy has still as a trained pokemon, and it takes place in December of 2001.
Don't Bite your Tongue!: This is the second RP I had with Aurora. The first one involved him coming to the conclusion that she doesn't exist because the wind was blowing (just... don't ask) - but it's in this one that the two Growlithes reveal their names to each other.
Next section: Jameka: There comes a time where we all have to say goodbye.
