| Divination |
| All right, simple divination really isn't as hard as people make it out to be. You don't need an expensive crystal ball or crossed eyes. All you do need is an open mind and creativity! |
| Ever looked at the clouds and seen shapes and animals? Yes, that's divination. It's as easy as that. |
| All you have to do is believe in yourself. You can divinate for yourself or other people. For a simple, fun excersise, team up with a friend, and each of you go outside and choose a rock (the more cracks and holes, the better). Now come back in and sit facing one another. One of you picks a question you are wondering, and holds that in her mind, but doesn't speak it aloud. The other, after a moment, consults the rock, and will see shapes and pictures in it (much like seeing pictures in the clouds) that will, if she translates what they represent to her, answer her friend's question, though she hasn't even heard it. Then switch roles. It's actually quite fun :) |
| How does this work? |
| Well, everything is channeled. When you say a prayer or are in Circle (even better...if you're in Circle saying a prayer!) it goes right up to the source. When you pose a question to the spirits or God, you will be answered in one way or another. |
| If the way you wish to be answered is divination, then it will be so. You will see images in your divinating object (this could be anything...rocks, water, fire, clouds...) that are tailored for you. Images represent certain things to each of us. For example, what does a bald eagle represent? Bravery? America? Freedom? What does a cat represent? Mystery? Intrigue? Independence? You see, though this seems simple, this is all you have to do. Just translate the images you see in what they mean to you, and your question, or your partner's question will be answered. |
| For example, "I see a golden eagle...let's see...to me that represents masculine energy, and an eagle is also a sign of enlightenment and higher/truer vision, I think...so from this, I would say that a man is coming into your life, or a man in your life is going to see things a little clearer and from a higher viewpoint." |
| A note: The images you see are for you alone. It may not look ANYTHING like an eagle to anyone else. That's okay, it doesn't matter. What each person sees will be very different, because they are each matched for the individual to interperet. But if a question has been asked to all, then the answers (the translation of the pictures) will all be the same. |
