Motivation Helps!
At the beginning of the year, all the students wished and prayed that they would be in Ms. Kitty's class. She was known for having the fun projects, experiments and field trips. In her class, there is a boy named Nicky. He enjoys fooling around during class time and does not pay attention to the lectures.Ms. Kitty had warned him several times already about completing his homework, studying for his tests and quizzes and not cheating in class. After 4 weeks of school, Nicky was receiving "F"'s in all of his subjects except for Sports. Nicky particularly likes playing volleyball and basketball and dream of becoming a professional in the future. Ms. Kitty had known this from his first assignment of the year, "My Career." To help, Ms. Kitty had decided to stop Nicky from attending Sports class. When heard of the news, he broke down. Ms. Kitty had agreed to let Nicky back into Sports class if he improved his grade in all subjects or when she sees Nicky trying harder with his work.
Nicky began studying at home, completing all of his work and paying attention in class. After a week, Ms. Kitty saw the results and let him come to Sports class whenever she feels he had a big improvement so that Nicky can be motivated. His grades started rising and he became one of the top 15 students in class. When Ms. Kitty was amazed by the big improvement, she decided to let him play sports twice a week. After several months, Nicky sustained his grade and was one of the top five students and is finally, he was allowed  to go back to Sports class regularly. Ms. Kitty had reminded him that if he can keep up his grades, she won't prevent him from playing sports. Nicky, motivated by his dream career, continued working and acing in his class, even without any teachers telling him to do his work . After that year, Nicky was transferred into another class and kept his grades up. He was determined to never let anything get in his way of his career now.
