When Frightened Kidster (FK) was picked on by the French teacher ever since school started, that is the Unconditional Stimulus. When FK loses his/her self confidence, that is the Unconditional Response, or the response to something naturally. After that, when the teacher calls on FK, or when he/she just hear the teacher's voice, she would turn pale and be petrified. The teacher's voice is the Conditioned Stimulus, the
neutral stimulus before that is used to pair with the Unconditional Response. When he/she turns pale at the sound of the teacher, that is the Conditional Response, or the response to the Conditional Stimulus. |
