Our District Explorer numbers are UP! For the size of our District, we have more Explorers than anywhere else in the County. We need to make our activities more exciting and recruit every available Person of Explorer Age. Remember, you can link with Scouts of 13 and Half years of age. Why not invite them to come along and sample Scouting with a kick!

Although it was extremely cold in November 2008, "Kernow" is plnned to be back in the Summer for 09. Keep an eye on the County Website for more details.

Why haven't we got more recipients of these awards? With all the things you lt get up to, I'm sure you should be getting more stuff signed off!!
Remember, Explorers is not Cubs - you have to take the ball and work towards the awards off your own back. We, as Leaders, are hear to encourage but it's you that has to want to gain the awards!
