From Penzance head out of town towards Hayle. At Crowlas crossroads turn left towards Ludgvan. Go about 100 metres, just past "The Old Inn" public house on your right, turn right up "Blowing House Hill". Follow this road up to the top, when the road levels out, keep going fo another 100 metres or so. You will come to a right fork junction with a "FORD" road sign. Take this right fork turn and head down the valley side. At the bottom of the valley you will find a few sharp bends, go over a river and carry on aroung to your right. Ignore the left turn and head up the steep hill. Go past some houses on your left and past a field on your right, keep going up the road. The lane bears around to the left and there should now be a large house with a balcony and a St Piran flag in front of you. This is the camp site. Continue up to the front door, look to the right and this is our camping field. Lovely isn't it? |
