Overachiever
Don't stomp on the ground that you have never owned.
Without us here, you would have never known,
The error of your ways, though in this case,
You still defend your cause, and yet your not aware of its inherant flaws.

Not even a misdemeanor, though felony is what it seems

Enkempt promises turn to lies,
And you see yourself as a failure,
Yet in someone elses eyes.
And if question rises, regarding your responsibility,
A scared child emerges, and we fell sorry as it cries.

The guilty verdict came in, displayed for the judge to see.

A tone deaf soul can't exactly bear reality,
And a seemingly innocent mind can't fake its sanity.
Lies will take their toll in due time,
And when you pull up to the window you will realize you don't have a dime.

Taken by the hand and led away in chains.

When it rains, it pours,
And you will find yourself soon drowning.
As you look for a hill you will find they've eroded,
much like the friendships once had that have since corroded.
Take a last breath before the level is too high.

Now you sit on death row, wallowing in shame.

Not even a misdemeanor, though felony is what it seems.
The verdict is in, for we judges to see.
Taken by the hand and led away in chains.
Your world is a wasteland, and forever it will rain.
