I said I'd design a heavy fighter and a space superiority fighter to show the advantages of having different classes of fighters on carriers. Here's my Scorpion Heavy Fighter - and for the moment I'm calling it a design study - I haven't decided who makes or has these, though I think it would probably be the Americans. My Taildog space superiority fighter will follow later.

The ship has a 6MW new military MHD, a 2MW Old Military Stutterwarp, sensors that require 1MW, and a 3MW PA.

It is designed to make multiple passes by targets of capital class, attacking with its Allen BMZ particle accelerator and its 5x2 DL's from it's Parke/Ezrael Submunition Dispenser (see Contagion in Challenge #46 for details). With it's heavy armour, durable hull, and low profile it is a very survivable fighter.
