Introduction

The British Army is an old and respected tradition in Britain, with the Military there going through a bit of a rennissance as it is now felt that the only nation that will look out for British intrests is Britain in the wake of the Kafer invasion. Therefore the mobilization of the Territorial Army has begun and for the first time in 300 years, National Conscription has been reinstated. This has caused some concern in Britain, but the people, forced to chose between a Kafer menace and being drafted, invaraibly choose the draft.

Manpower Totals on full Mobilization = 525,000

Active Forces = 64% ( including Conscripts)
Territorial Army = 36% ( including Individual Volunteer Reserve and Home Guards)

CiC of the British Army = Gen Sir Richard Thornburn KAC, DSO, VC, MC

Organization

The British Army is Organized into Regiments as the old divisional level structure was found simply too difficult to deploy quickly to crises offworld.
