June  2000  NEW LETTER

Earlier this week The Royal  Regiment of Fusiliers (unofficial) Web site joined the British Military History web ring bringing the total of web sites in the ring too 100.

When we first started the ring in February 1999  we never thought it would become so popular. Our original idea was for a small group of sites to get together, but we have grown very quickly and the ring is now listed on many search engines. It's great to see some of the better British History web sites in the ring.

Although we have grown we  still keep up the high standards needed to join the ring. The ringmasters get up to 5 web sites a month applying to join and many do not reach the standards of quality need to join the ring. Proving that this is a popular ring to join.

We get some very strange web sites trying to join. One chap asked if his German Luftwaffe page could be added??

There are lots of other rings out there, which cover what  we  all do, but they seem to let just about anything join. Our promise to you is that we'll keep the high standards for the ring and not let any sites in that fall below our standards.

We hope that your web sites have benefited from being in the web ring and will continue to do so. Below is a list of the most regularly visited sites in the ring.

Thank you for your support.
