This is the top view, showing the layout of the vehicles,figures and the bare, muddy landscape.

Presenting my second diorama, the Battle of Mudd! This is a 1/72 scale diorama, on a battle after obvious heavy rains. The vehicles are a Matchbox Jagdpanther and an Aifix Tiger I. The figures are all Airfix 1/72 and the logs are from a Hasegawa figures set. The diorama is papier mache covered over with Pollyfilla and painted a rich deep brown, with highlights drybrushed on. Small pools of water were created with white glue which dries clear and glossy. Making the mud on this was fun!


Side view, looking across the two vehicles. Note the action of the man running to join the battle. Obviously, he's a new recruit!


Side view of Tiger I and soldiers dug into position firing at the enemy. Note the muddy, churned look of the ground.


Two veterans casually sauntering to the action. In no hurry are they?
