Max Fenig first showed up in "fallen angel" where he was temporarly imprisoned with Fox Mulder. After their reliece mulder found Fenig holding up in one of those metal trailers that look like silver turds. Inside mulder and scully found themselves whirled in a slew of long range radio and AV equipment. Max, tells Mulder that he has been "following" his career closely. He also says "you're travel expences are public information, according to the freedom of information act." In "fallen angel" Max Fenig is reaubducted by the "force" once again just before he is killed and the truth devulged.
Max re-appears in "max" in the forth season. He seems to be carring proof of extraterrestrial life. At risk of his own health, the proof is radioactive. In the end he is abducted in a mid air UFO & Jet airliner fasion. On a personal note i think that Max Fenig is one of the best played charatcter on the show.
