Please allow me to introduce
myself
My name is Paul R. Welke and I have recently been hired as the
new
conspiracy theorist here at TRUSTNO1. I find that things are not
always
as they appear to be, and that commonly held beliefs are often
propagated
by the institutions that we rely on to run various aspects of our
lives.
Many of these beliefs are lies, and the truth is often very
elusive. The
simplest explanation is not always the correct one, and a great
deal of
investigation is needed in order to expose these lies. Please
keep in
mind that I have no evidence whatsoever to support my claims,
except for
rational thought and logic, combined with a heightened sense of
paranoia.
AND THE BAND PLAYED ON
Many of us have seen various movies that
explore the origins of
the AIDS virus. One of the first of this type of film is called
"And the
Band Played On", which claims that the AIDS virus can be
traced to a small
village in Africa, and stems from primates. We have been deceived
into
believing this by the radical right of the American government
who has
created this virus for its own goals. The fact that most AIDS
victims, in
the beginning, were homosexual men and habitual drug users
supports this.
What conservative wouldn't jump at the chance to eliminate a
large portion
of their opposition without leaving any trace of foul play
whatsoever?
Most drug users are lower class people who, truth be told, would
not
generate much sympathy from the masses. Being lower class, it is
also
quite probable that they support a more liberal, democratic
political
ideology. Most gays are also quite liberal, due to the fact that
homosexuality has still not gained full acceptance within
mainstream
society. Now we have a quite logical motive: The right wing (dare
I say,
"fascist?") has created something that can rid them of
a very vocal
portion of their opposition without too many people suspecting
anything
amiss. Some have even had the audacity to claim that this disease
is a
punishment from a god who feels that we need to be rid of
homosexuals and
drug users who "plague our society with their mere
existence". Now, many
of you will be asking, "How did this disease first show up
in a small
village in Africa?" My answer to you is simple and although,
ghastly
because of its implications, quite logical. As with any
biological
weapon, a test group was needed, as well as a scapegoat to be
used as a
point of origin. The government of the day felt that a small
village in
Africa, far away from any CNN cameras, would be perfect for a
test group;
relatively secluded, and pretty much insignificant in their grand
scheme
of things. It also sounds a lot more plausible if a virus of this
sort
comes from some remote jungle on another continent as opposed to
just
suddenly appearing in blood banks across North America.
Unfortunately,
this disease is indiscriminant; it is now a great concern of
everyone's,
which has created panic and paranoia all over the world. Panic
and
paranoia are extremely valuable bargaining chips when struggling
for world
domination; they keep the masses misdirected. Instead of people
looking
for the origins and clandestine aspects of the virus, they are
now
preoccupied with finding a cure. The smart money says that if we
injected
the world's leaders with the virus, we would have a cure within
about 10
minutes. I do not doubt for a second that a cure already exists
and is
available to those in the know who might need it for personal
use, but
until the powers that be decide that the rest of us are worthy,
it will
remain elusive.
Sleep with one eye open,
Paul R. Welke
