the 6922nd ESS, Criticomm Facility known as the "Elephant Cage" in the 1961st Communications Center as a cryptographic (Criticomm) systems technician. The next several years I worked in the 1961st Quality COntrol Office at the Headquarters building. My
inal two years were spent as the Manager of the Base "Link Crypto Maintenance" Office located in building 2112. These were some good years were I worked with a lot of great people. I am currently a Program Manager for GSA/FTS.

I worked in the Aeronautical Station "Clark Airways" across from where the Security Service intercept operators worked. We performed flight following (PIREPs), provided unsecured unclassified air/ground communications (phone patches) as well as secure com
unications. We coordinated with aircraft commanders, Manila Control and Base Ops.
Pulled TDY at Air Mail Terminal at Clark as well as at Camp John Hay Post Office. Also TDY with Security Police guarding such things as the base POL and the cable yard.
