As my breath left my body
I look to the sky
Lord dont take me this way
i'ts not my time to die
& if you take me to the kingdom
much before my time
you will see me as an angel
an angel by you'r side.
as my body got pulled under,
underneath the waves
I prayed that I would make it through
live to see another day.
but, if my time was over
& my life on earth did cease,
I would always be you'r angel
an angel bringing peace.
Thank you Lord for this day,
I praise you for showing me the way.
I know I am you'r angel,
I have been since my birth,
I'm you'r angel sent from heaven,
as I am you'r angel here on earth...
