I Take Thee



I take thee for my woman,
I take thee for my wife,
you will always be my partner
that i will walk throughout this life,
I am always ready to be the clown
to make you smile when your feeling down.
to hold you and to calm your fears,
to help you wipe away the tears
to be your partner in ill weather
For we will always be together.
to hold you and to keep you warm
For we will overcome each storm.
in good times and in bad
in sickness and health
I will be there for you always
as we have shared in so much in wealth
I will love you for your spirit
together, young and old
we will love forever
to have you and to hold
we will walk into eternity
we will pass the pearly gates
beacause you are my love for life
my love and my soulmate
