We met in the winter
when our love was burning hot
we loved in the cold & promised never to part
the air was damp and chilly
but there was sunshin in our love
the sky was dark and cloudy
but the stars shone bright above
we made it through the summer
we loved stronger in the spring
the autumn leaves were falling
and on my hand you placed a ring
a vow never to be broken
remembering the past
puts a twinkle in my eyes again
eternal love would last
the seasons have changed again
the leaves have turned to gold
what once was new and different
has become worn and old
the air is turning cold again
the seasons never lie
last time the cold turned our love hot
