Life is just a stage
we all play a part
to reveal a mystery
unfolding from the start
we act out in madness
we act out in love
we are the finest actors
God sent down from above
even all the sadness
in some way is meant to be
as if to unite our souls
that we never would have seen
and then there are the kind ones
serene & gentle beings
sensitive to the lightest touch
trying to find our dreams
life is just a stage
flashing from scene to scene
and when the movies over
it will all have been a dream
we all will take the stage
a final bow, through the stage door
we'll listen to our fans applause
and wait for the encore......
