The day turned black
as black as coal
all feeling drained from my soul
smoke and fire
at your'e back
running from the next attack
nightfall hides
the firey air
i close my eyes and reach in prayer
the wounds are deep
the scars in light
to remind me of
this tragic plight
i dream of pain,disease and war
who has won?
i can't keep score.
so stand up tall

so that we may heal
