"Spitshake" or "Tumbler": Pixie and Smiley named this little boy Spitshake, because when they're all celebrating at the end, he and Skittery hug and do a spit-shake. He is sometimes called Tumbler or The Littlest Newsie and he can also be seen:
At the beginning, yawning and scratching his head; during CTB, quickly pulling his pants up before he goes downstairs; at "we need a good assassination", being dragged away; in CTB, being picked up by Dutchy and spun around by Itey; when Jack is looking for volunteers to go to Brooklyn, hiding under a stick; in STD, standing on the statue with the other small children; in the STD dance reprise, playing drums; behind Warden Snyder at the Irving Hall fight, struggling with a policeman; and at the end credits, doing the heel-clacky dance frozen in midair then falling.
"Slider": We believe it was Snickery who named Slider. Slider is the third boy t o slide on a paper after STD. He is also the last boy to receive bread from the nuns in CTB.
"Swimmer": We named this guy because we really didn't feel like calling him 'the hot Brooklynite who climbs out of the water', like everyone else does. He wears long underwear, but you can see his blue underwear underneath that. He says, "Goin' somewhere, Kelly?" and Jack pushes him aside.
"Snap": Smiley named this guy. He was before known as 'the other black guy, besides Boots.' He's called Snap because he snaps his fingers in his sleep, as you can see before CTB. He's very enthusiastic. In the beginning of TWWK, he takes his hat off and shouts "WOO-HOO!"
"Happy": He has blond hair, and stands in the front of the crowd in TWWK. We named him Happy as a joke, because he always looks angry.
"Chico": Don't ask how Penny came up with this kid's name. It used to be "Drummer" because Penny thought she saw him playing drums in the STD dance reprise, but she was wrong. HA! Anyways. Chico has dark hair and skin and is usually hangin' around Tumbler. The best view you have of him is when Tumbler is hinding under his li'l stick, and Chico is shaking his head back and forth as if he's trying to decide what to do. He's also in STD, carrying the sign reading "Strik".
