| Well, this is it! First Id like to say thank you too all that have read and enjoyed this story, and to the more than 200 people who emailed me. Your generosity is overflowing and I am grateful. This story is my pet and each character in it has a special place in my heart. I never intended for this story to be so long nor did I intend for it to contain a love story, but it evolved all on its own! Wendy and Ricky, I think is what kept this story alive, and not the spankings contained within its text. I think that is a pretty good accomplishment considering the genre of the group. Second. I have to apologize for the lengthy pause between the last chapter and this one, which is the final chapter. Its been over 2 years since Ive opened this book so I have decided since so much time has passed that I will fast forward instead of starting where I left off. My goal is to tie the end chapter and my beginning paragraph in the first chapter together. I have to confess that I started writing the final chapter when I realized that I needed to go back and familiarize myself with the characters and the content in order to tie it all in and still make sense even though I intend to center the ending around Wendy and Ricky and their love for each other. When we left off, Mark and Patricia had gotten married and combined their children to make one big family. Ricky was 14 and on the verge of some real emotional changes. Wendy was 13 and going through some changes of her own. Since the last chapter, David, Jessica, Nathan and Camille have left Barrington Hall to face the adult world in college etc, but still stay in touch. Lynda and Lizzie were reunited with a family member, and Nadia and Sam were adopted by a wonderful couple. Jacob and Matthew share a room and, Ricky has his own. Missy and Sarah bunk together and Alex and Wendy are finally together after all this time of being just across the hall from each other. I dont want to give anything away but hope that I do the story justice with the ending. Again, thank you all for your kind words and passionate interest in this story. |
