Well, I was about 10 days from splash down but I had an unfortunate accident. I broke my right wrist (hairline) while using a 24V hammer drill. The drill bit hit a knot in a piece of wood and immediately stopped. However, the body of the drill torqued around with my hand with it. OUCH. In the mean time, I am doing what I can with my left hand. One of things I could do was get the transom painted. I hired a local artist that has been in Key West for about 50 years. He does the lettering for about 80% of all charter boats, sailboats and most businesses in the area. This art was done completely free handed. It turned out awesome! |
