PAINTING!!! The boat finally sees the inside of the paint booth.
We were able to get the boat into the paint booth without too much trouble.....except for loosing a tire on the trailer after it ran over an old anchor that was covered up by weeds near where it had been parked. After that it went in fine.  We used the lift system in the booth to get it off the trailer.  We rolled the trailer out and went to work sanding off the last section of old paint that could not be reached because the trailer bunks were in the way.
With the help of a buddy down here, we were able to get the boat taped off and covered so the first layer of topside black paint could be applied.  I rolled it on and my buddy tipped it off with a good brush.  t came out great.  Later, after the hull is done, we are going to wetsand the top and spray on a second layer.
Here the boat is taped and covered in preparation for the spray painting of the hull.
Success!  The first coat of white paint has been sprayed on.  It went on great and I only made three mistakes.  I can wetsand them out before the second coat!
UPDATE:  The second coat went on great and was better than the first.  The third coat....well, lets just say that gravity took advantage of me.  I made several mistakes and there are MULTIPLE runs.  I will need to sand these out and re-spray those areas.
The hull is done.....well, I have not fixed the runs yet.  I started the bottom today.  Here is a shot of the transom and the side of the hull.  I have the bottom taped off and this shows the Interlux 2000 going on.  This shows the contrast of the new white hull, the old gelcoat with the repairs and the gray barrier coat going on.
First coat of bottom paint on!!!!

I took off the tape for this shot - Damn, it looks good!
