FUEL TANKS - NEED NEW ONES
Port gas tank.  The corrosion was WORSE than it looks.  I had to remove the outside port stringer to get this out.  I needed to replace the stringers anyways.
Here is the main fuel line used when filling the tank.  The entire center section of this hose is rotted and corroded.  The hose is reinforced with a steel coiled interior.  I have no idea how the previous owner kept from blowing himself up!
Here is the starboard gas tank.  It was in a little better shape but the corrosion was terrible too.  The deminsions were:

69"X12"X8" and the capacity was aprox. 35 gallons.
Here is another shot of the starboard tank.
Here are the new tanks!  Twin 35 gallon tanks.  Stainless steel.
Closeup of one tank.
Here is one tank installed in the hull.  I painted it with Interlux 2000 epoxy.  I had to grind part of the deck to get the tanks in.
