| After 10 hours of lifting and lowering the engine, changing - moving - or engineering new brackets, fabricating new engine to stringer mounts, drilling countless holes in steel and stringers, tightening bolts in almost impossible locations, packing the stuffing box, grinding sections of my deck so the new fuel tanks would fit as well as making several trips to the marine shop for hoses, transmission line fittings, clamps, nuts and bolts, and various other things --- I finally got it in!!!!!!! | Here are the new engine mounts. These were the hardest and most critical of the installation procedures. We used 3/8" thick 3" wide angle iron that was thru bolted to the stringers with 1/4" backing plates. The thru bolts were 7/16'" stainless. They were also covered with Interlux 2000 Epoxy These are clean and functional mounts. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
