The Pennsport School of Dance is proud to be celebrating our 27th Anniversary. We have been providing professional dance education for over two decades.
Located in the heart of South Philadelphia, the P.S.O.D. is dedicated to teaching quality dance education as well as giving the individual attention and the discipline necessary to help develop character, poise and a professional attitude.
We offer classes to children as young as 3 years of age to adult. Our weekly, one hour ballet, jazz ballroom, modern and tap classes are for all students beginning at 6 years of age. Our gymnastic classes are taught by a DEA certified teacher and offered for all ages of students beginning at 3 years of age and older. All classes are taught by our dedicated staff and are conducted for one full hour.
Our toddler classes have always proved to be very successful in early dance training. Children at this stage have a very short attention span. Therefore, our toddler classes are conducted in different types of dance for one full hour. In these classes, children are introduced to ballet, jazz and tap. They also learn rhythms, rhymes and creative movement. We find that these classes prepare students for future dance capabilities. |
