Our Mission

To promote the study, teaching, and performance of Ceol Mor, the "Great Music" of the Highland Bagpipe in central Pennsylvania. 

Society Activities

The Piobaireachd Society of Central Pennsylvania promotes piobaireachd in the central Pennsylvania region by supporting the following:

1.  "Introduction to Piobaireachd" workshops for pipers new to piobaireachd.

2.  Providing a forum for amateur piobaireachd players to perform piobaireachd.

3.  Supporting piobaireachd competitions in the central Pennsylvania region.

4.  Sponsoring Professional Piobaireachd recitals.
