Jarod walked up to the counter and waited for someone to notice him. The man, who looked to be the manager came up to him.
"I would like to work here"
"Do you know how to make coffee?"
"I am sure I can learn."
"Not in my cafe, pal. What's your name?"
"Jarod..........Starbuck."
"Riiight. Just call me Grimesy. Everyone does. "
Grimes took him to the back and told Jarod to make him a cup of coffee.
"Do you realize caffiene is an addictive substance? " Jarod asked.
"Noooo, really? You a rocket scientist?" Grimes asked laughing.
Jarod smiled. "Not today."
